Do I have douchebag hair?

That's not very nice of them, is it?

I usually think of the peak-y "fauxhawk" as "little boy" hair. Definitely not douchebag hair though.

nah... I don't think so. You seem to have a sincerity behind your eyes that keeps from from coming off like a douchebag. IMHO, it seems to be an affected look that certain types of people are drawn to. For example, is every person who drives a BMW an ass? No, but they do have that reputation..

yes, your hair screams I'm a douche bag, but no one cares about your hair. You're food, vision, and willingness to think out loud is utterly interesting! Thanks for pushing things!

Here's how I view it. (And caveat emptor, because my personal style is probably best described as "schlumpy lesbian.") Spikes and fauxhawks are fine in my book and to me are a little homage to the punk styles that I liked so much from afar in the 80s. Now if you're coloring the tips of your spikes or fauxhawk any natural hair color (as opposed to blue or primary red) then you may be worrying too much about your man hair.

sorry I didn't get these posted as they rolled in. I spent way too much time at airports and train stations last few days !

it's cute!!! & it's not as though you are getting an $80 fauxhawk like jen from top chef... paying $$$ is more of a sign of douchebaggery, although not conclusive...

I rock the fauxhawk as well my friend, and take slight offense to this. To me its a mullet mindset in reverse, business in the back and party up front.......after re-reading what I just wrote though Ill vote yes.

let's see the hair of the guy who wrote the article !! yours is not even close to douchebag..plus you don't seem to be the hot shot snob who would qualify as such. we even style our 9 month old son's hair into a faux-hawk, it's fun and a tribute to our favorite top chef !!

Your hair pairs well with liquid nitrogen!

Your food looked awesome, and you seemed like a really fun guy, but your hair is a bit silly. Since you asked, your hair doesn't look douchebaggy, but it does look comical, as if you are trying to be a caricature of yourself. As if you are worried that no one will realize that you're a cool guy unless you have over the top "cool" hair.

No way! They're crazy.

I think what is meant by having douchebag hair is that one has to actually be a douchebag. Based on my Top Chef watchings, I would never put you in the same category as K-Fed or Dave Navarro.

I think that term used to be called "too cool for school", or something along those lines (yes, I'm old; deal). That term may be applicable to someone who does spend an inordinate amount of time styling their hair, but you seem like a style-on-the-way-out-the door kind of guy.

If I don't see a foie gras milkshake at Flip, I'll be highly disappointed. Ditto on the chicken skin/gravy shot.

Fashionistas are like political pundits - trying to convince everyone that there take on things is the right one and we should all believe and follow it.

Rock your hair. Rock your burgers. Rock Howell Mill Road.

Can't wait to FINALLY eat your food!!!
